About

Phoebe Love GMBPsS BSc

Welcome to my practice. I am a neurodivergent-affirming Mental Wellbeing Practitioner, currently training to become a Counsellor.

My journey in mental health began with a degree in Psychology (BSc Hons, 2.1), earned during the challenging times of the pandemic. This period was pivotal for me, not only academically but also personally, as it was when I first discovered I related to ADHD experiences.

Since then, my path has taken me through various roles and meaningful experiences. I've volunteered as a listener with the Samaritans and worked in a GP surgery where I had the privilege of working with my own patients. Listening to diverse life stories and perspectives has profoundly shaped my skills and identity by enriching my understanding and empathy, making me a more compassionate practitioner.

I've seen the unique challenges faced by many late-diagnosed or suspected neurodivergent individuals. The lack of dedicated support often leads them to seek help from mental health professionals like myself. This realisation inspired me to dive deeper into understanding neurodiversity and to focus on providing the support that’s so often missing.

I absolutely love working with neurodivergent clients. Helping someone understand themselves in a new, more affirming light is incredibly rewarding. I believe everyone deserves to live their most authentic life, free from fear, and in a safe, supportive environment.

In my practice, I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where neurodivergent individuals can feel understood and valued. I’m here to support you on your journey to embracing your true self, empowering you to live your most authentic life.
